Our team at Toronto Bridal Style is a fully mobile bridal beauty salon, where we bring the beauty to you! Our team of artists has over 30 years of experience and can handle wedding parties of 1 bride or 20+ bridal party members and attendants.

About Jem
Jem started in makeup 14 years ago, while studying for her Specialist degree in Journalism from the University of Toronto. She’s totally happy working in a *different* but STILL creative field, as a full-time, freelance, Professional Makeup Artist and Hairstylist in the Toronto area for the past 8 years.
She would tell you that she likes tea over coffee, winged liner over a smokey eye, good skincare over good Photoshop, and that she absolutely loves her job.
Jem has built a successful commercial career working with a number of prominent advertising clients such as Bayer Pharmaceutical, Siemens, Toyota, Netflix, Absolut, The Pan Am Games, and Ford Lincoln. She has seen her beauty and editorial work published in a multitude of publications including Canadian faves: IN Magazine, Chloe and HELLO! Canada. She has worked on various film and video sets, in the heat AND the cold. She has done hair, makeup and men’s grooming on corporate executives of all levels for companies such as Samsung, Siemens, Bayer Pharmaceutical, and several prominent model and talent agencies.
She prides herself on having a very keen eye for beauty and is highly detail oriented. Her skills include hairstyling, makeup, airbrush, special effects and male grooming. She only uses high grade, photographic, HD compatible, professional quality makeup and tools.
Jem works with private clients for weddings, special events and celebrity appearances. She specializes in makeup for different skin types, textures and ethnicities and is well recognized for her Corrective Beauty techniques. She strives towards an aesthetic that makes her clients feel empowered by their beauty. Jem is a Speaker & Educator in her field and teaches private lessons to everyday women, jet-setting models who need to be camera ready wherever they go, and other Artists who want to learn new skills.
Jem was born & raised in Toronto, Canada. But she has passport- & will travel.
